Job summary

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Full-Time Security Supervisor to lead and support security operations at a high-profile retail site in the Ipswich region. You’ll lead by example, support your team, and ensure security operations are delivered to a high standard.

This role requires a strong background in retail security and team supervision, with a focus on maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients, customers, staff and visitors while meeting client expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Supervisor or in a senior security position.
• Retail security experience in high-volume environments.
• Current Queensland Security Licence including Crowd Control and Monitoring.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and support a team of security officers.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day security operations across the retail site.
• Provide guidance, support and direction to security officers on site.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused security services at all times.
• Conduct regular patrols, inspections and security checks.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems and respond appropriately to incidents.
• Manage access control and maintain secure entry and exit points.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, alarms and incidents.
• Identify, assess and manage security risks and potential threats.
• Ensure security officers follow site procedures, client requirements and company policies.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, shift reports and site documentation.
• Liaise professionally with the client, site management, emergency services and other stakeholders.
• Address operational issues and elevate matters appropriately when required.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation, professionalism and customer service.
• Support the delivery of a safe, secure and positive retail environment.

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Full-Time Security Supervisor to lead and support security operations at a high-profile retail site in the Ipswich region.

This role is ideal for an experienced security professional with a strong background in retail security and team supervision. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients, customers, staff and visitors while ensuring security operations are delivered to a high standard.

As a Security Supervisor, you’ll lead by example, support your team, respond confidently to incidents and emergencies, and ensure site procedures and client expectations are consistently met.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Security Supervisor or in a senior security position.
• Demonstrated experience working in retail security, preferably within a high-volume environment.
• Current Queensland Security Licence including Crowd Control and Monitoring.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and support a team of security officers.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response and risk management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong written skills with the ability to complete detailed reports and documentation.
• Professional presentation and a proactive approach to security.
• The ability to remain calm, make sound decisions and respond effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients, customers and team members.
• Previous experience managing security operations within a retail environment will be highly regarded.
