Securecorp is currently seeking an exceptional Full-Time Security Officer to provide outstanding customer service and emergency response capabilities at a high-profile retail site in Ipswich. The position operates on a balanced 4 days on / 4 days off rotating roster consisting of 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Security Licence is essential.
• Current Control Room Licence is essential.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Experience in retail security is desirable.
• Excellent presentation and professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work rotating rosters including nights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional security services with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Monitor, patrol, and safeguard assigned premises.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, incidents, and calls for assistance.
• Assess and mitigate risks across a range of situations.
• Manage access control and maintain secure entry and exit points.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Operate CCTV systems for monitoring and surveillance purposes.
• Perform concierge and reception duties with a professional presentation.
• Undertake administrative duties to support site operations.
