Millennium Services Group is seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage a busy Retail/Shopping Centre site in Innaloo, WA. The role requires extensive knowledge of site security, building management and fire control systems, with a focus on SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence is a must.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Security supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment is highly regarded.
• Reliable transportation encouraged.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management.
• You must have valid work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Security Officers on site.
• Oversee the site control room and CCTV operations.
• Maintain client relationships and report to regional management.
• Assess and mitigate on-site risks and respond to alarms.
• Engage with persons of interest and provide directions on duty.
• Communicate effectively with all on-site personnel.
• Operate radios and site communication systems.
• Recruit and train new staff and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The Role

Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivatedSecurity Supervisorto manage one of our busy Retail/Shopping Centre sites in Innaloo, WA.

The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures.

Positions available: Full-time

Level 2 with Supervisors Allowance

ROSTER

Tuesday: 0830 am -1800pm

Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 0600 am -1800 pm

Thursday: 1400 am - 2100 pm

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers
• Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system
• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager
• Assess and mitigate risks on site
• Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events
• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest
• Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on-duty
• Use communication systems including portable two-way radios
• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety
• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs
• Recruit and train new employees

Key Selection Criteria:

• Valid Security Licence is a must
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required
• Security supervisory or management experience preferred
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
• You must have valid work rights in Australia.
