Job summary

Securecorp in Mount Isa is seeking professional Security Officers to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You will deliver a high level of security while providing outstanding customer service in a busy, dynamic environment.

You will patrol buildings and car parks, maintain accurate logs, respond to alarms and emergencies, and support Fire Warden duties as required. Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Controller and a First Aid/CPR certificate are essential.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Controller component.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Ability to work 30 hr average per week (60 hours per fortnight).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Must reside within or near Mount Isa.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of security and customer service
• Maintain accurate security logs and documentation
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
• Conduct internal and external patrols of buildings, car parks and surrounding areas
• Provide asset protection and incident response
• Investigate incidents and complete accurate reporting
• Perform Fire Warden duties where required
• Attend to car park-related matters and issues
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times
