Securecorp is seeking a Full Time Retail Security Guard for a major retail centre in Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. The role suits a security professional with retail security experience and aims for permanent hours in a dynamic environment.

Strong Control Room experience is highly desirable as progression includes monitoring CCTV, incident coordination, and supporting site operations from the control room when required. Emphasis on safety, risk management and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail security environments.
• Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control & Monitoring components.
• First Aid Certificate and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a strong and professional security presence in a busy retail environment.
• Provide high-level customer service to retailers, staff, and the public.
• Conduct foot patrols, access control, and site monitoring.
• Operate and monitor Control Room systems including CCTV and alarms.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; assess and manage risk.
• Complete detailed incident reports and logs; liaise with management and emergency services.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Retail Security Guard to join our team at a major retail centre in Upper Mount Gravatt. This role is ideal for a security professional with strong retail security experience who is specifically seeking a permanent position maintaining consistent hours.

Strong Control Roomexperience is highly desirable, as the progression path for this role will involve future monitoring CCTV, incident coordination, and supporting site operations from the control room when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a strong and professional security presence in a busy retail environment
• Provide high-level customer service to retailers, staff, and members of the public
• Conduct foot patrols, access control, and site monitoring
• Operate and monitor Control Room systems including CCTV and alarm systems
• Respond effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergency situationsIdentify, assess, and manage risk appropriately
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs
• Liaise with centre management, tenants, and emergency services when required

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience inretail security environments
• Strong Control Room experience (highly regarded)
• Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control & Monitoring components
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a relief capacity
