Glad Group is recruiting Multiple Security Officer roles for Jesmond Central, a busy shopping centre in Newcastle, NSW. You’ll help create safe, secure, and welcoming environments, patrolling, monitoring activity and coordinating with teams to protect people and property.

We value strong communication, customer service and teamwork. Roles involve rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, with full training and ongoing support within a national security business.

Formación

• Must hold a current valid Security Licence and National Police Check (ability to obtain).
• Availability for rotating roster including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Experience in retail, corporate or customer-facing security environments.
• Calm, professional and responsive in fast-paced situations.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, retailers and visitors.
• Conduct patrols, monitor site activity and respond to incidents or security concerns.
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, first aid and incident management.
• Monitor and report risks, hazards, suspicious behaviour and breaches of site procedures.
• Deliver professional customer service while supporting conflict resolution and access control requirements.

• Maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, retailers and visitors
• Conduct patrols, monitor site activity and respond to incidents or security concerns
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, first aid and incident management
• Monitor and report risks, hazards, suspicious behaviour and breaches of site procedures
• Deliver professional customer service while supporting conflict resolution and access control requirements

What we are looking for

• Current valid Security Licence and National Police Check (ability to obtain).
• Availability to work across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends where required.
• Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Experience in retail, corporate or customer-facing security environments.
• Ability to remain calm, professional and responsive in fast-paced situations.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Previous control room experience will be highly regarded.
