Certis Security Australia is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Alice Springs, NT. You will be the on-site face of safety, maintaining a visible presence, patrolling, and responding to incidents to protect customers, staff and assets.

The role is fast-paced, customer-facing with day shifts, permanent part-time and casual opportunities. You’ll need NT Security Licence, First Aid and CPR certifications, and the ability to pass a police check, delivering excellent service while supporting store

Qualifications

• Must have NT Security Licence and be able to obtain a Police Check.
• Current First Aid with CPR certification is required.
• Good communication and customer service skills are essential.

As a Retail Security Officer,you’ll be the face of safety on-site—helping protect customers, staff, and assets in busy retail environments. Your visible presence and quick response will help prevent incidents, reduce risk, and create a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

About the role

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where no two shifts are the same.You’ll be working across retail sites providing a strong security presence,monitoringactivity, and responding to incidents as they arise.

You’ll combine strong situational awareness with great customer service—supporting both safety and a positive in-store experience.

Contract: Permanent part time& casualopportunitiesavailable

Pay Rate:SSIA Level4

Shift Pattern:Day Shift

Key responsibilities:

About You

• Must have NT Security Licence
• Valid First Aid Certificate(3yearsvalidity)with current CPRCertificate(1 year validity)
• Ability to clear an Australian Police Check
• Strong communicationand customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy retail environments
• Good observation skills and confidence to manage and de-escalate incidents
