Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking professional Security Officers for part-time positions in Sydney CBD. You will deliver frontline security through patrols, access control, incident response, and proactive surveillance while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.

Requirements include a valid Security Licence (Class 1A Unarmed Guarding), First Aid with CPR, and the ability to obtain an Australian Police Check. Shifts include day and night, with SSIA pay levels 3 and 4.

Qualifications

Must have Security Licence, Classification 1A (Unarmed Guarding).
Valid First Aid Certificate (3 years validity) with current CPR Certificate (1 year validity).
Ability to clear an Australian Police Check.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent observation, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.
Experience with CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine patrols and security checks.
Perform alarm response and incident management.
Maintain control room and site security operations.
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems.
Identify and respond to suspicious behaviour or incidents.
Maintain accurate surveillance records.
Escort visitors, contractors, and personnel.
Monitor movement of goods and deliveries.
Respond to security breaches and alarms.
Support emergency evacuation and incident coordination.
Liaise with emergency services when required.
Complete accurate reports and documentation.
Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.

About The Role

Play a key role in keeping people, assets, and facilities safe. As a Security Officer, you’ll deliver frontline security through patrols, monitoring, access control, and incident response—while always providing a professional and customer-focused presence.

Job Location: Sydney CBD

Contract: Part-Time opportunities available

Pay Rate:SSIA Level3 & 4

Shift Pattern:Day and Night shifts available

Key responsibilities

About You
