Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Alice Springs. You will be the face of safety on-site across busy retail environments, patrolling, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents to deter theft while delivering excellent customer service.

This permanent part-time role offers a day shift pattern, with SSIA Level4 pay rate and casual opportunities. You will work to maintain a secure, welcoming store environment and uphold safety standards across locations.

Qualifications

• NT Security Licence is required.
• Valid First Aid Certificate and current CPR are required.
• Must be able to clear an Australian Police Check.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in busy retail environments.

As a Retail Security Officer,you’ll be the face of safety on-site—helping protect customers, staff, and assets in busy retail environments. Your visible presence and quick response will help prevent incidents, reduce risk, and create a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

About the role

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where no two shifts are the same.You’ll be working across retail sites providing a strong security presence,monitoringactivity, and responding to incidents as they arise.

You’ll combine strong situational awareness with great customer service—supporting both safety and a positive in-store experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Must have NT Security Licence
