St John’s Anglican College – Forest Lake QLD is seeking an IT Technician to join the IT team, delivering frontline support to staff and students across campus. The role focuses on helpdesk responsiveness, ICT maintenance and security, and assisting with classroom technologies.

Ideal candidates have school-based IT/helpdesk experience, knowledge of Windows, M365, AD, Intune and SCCM, and a willingness to learn. A Diploma or equivalent is preferred and Working with Children Blue Card is required.

Formación

• Previous IT/helpdesk support experience, preferably within a school or similar environment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and SCCM.
• Experience supporting classroom AV technologies.
• Familiarity with macOS, iOS and Apple devices would be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to prioritise competing requests and provide timely technical support.
• An Associate Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Some flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate occasional out-of-school-hours requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide frontline IT and helpdesk support to staff and students.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and support ICT resources across the College.
• Assist users with effective use of technology, systems and equipment.
• Undertake routine checks and report on the ICT environment.
• Support classroom technologies.
• Work collaboratively with the broader IT team to provide effective technology services across the College.
• Build positive relationshps with staff, students and other members of the College community.
• Maintain confidentiality.
