Job summary

Sustainability, a purpose-driven national organisation, is entering a growth phase and redesigning its digital channel. You will sit at the intersection of business and technology, designing Salesforce solutions to help customers browse, buy and engage online.

You’ll run discovery workshops, translate needs into user stories, lead solution design across Salesforce and Commerce Cloud, and support integrations with CRM, ERP and payments, while ensuring security and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst on Salesforce.
• Hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience (B2B preferred).
• Ability to facilitate workshops and translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce processes and digital journeys.
• Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security, data modelling and reporting.
• Experience integrating commerce, CRM, ERP and related systems.
• Ability to read debug logs with basic Apex or SOQL.
• Exposure to Revenue Cloud or quote-to-cash processes.
• Salesforce Administrator and Commerce Cloud certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with stakeholders and capture core requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional designs, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead solution design across Salesforce focusing on UX, scalability, security.
• Configure and optimize Commerce Cloud storefronts, catalogs, pricing, promotions, search, checkout.
• Support B2B and B2C journeys and integrations with CRM, ERP and payments.
• Design and maintain data structures, security models, governance.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with tech teams on fixes.
• Drive continuous improvement in CX, automation, and platform adoption.

About the opportunity We’re partnering with a well-established, purpose-driven national organisation in the middle of a significant growth and transformation phase. Their headcount has doubled in recent years, and digital channels are central to how they serve customers across Australia.

They’re looking for a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to sit at the intersection of business and technology. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand what they need, design the right Salesforce solution, and help improve how customers browse, buy and engage online.

What you’ll be doing

• Running discovery workshops with business stakeholders and getting to the heart of their requirements
• Translating business needs into functional designs, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Leading solution design decisions across Salesforce, balancing customer experience, scalability, security and maintainability
• Configuring and optimising Commerce Cloud capabilities including storefronts, catalogues, pricing, promotions, search and checkout
• Supporting B2B and B2C commerce journeys and integrations with CRM, revenue management, ERP, payments and order management
• Designing and maintaining data structures, security models and governance standards
• Troubleshooting platform issues, reviewing debug logs and partnering with technical teams on resolution
• Driving continuous improvement across customer experience, automation, reporting and platform adoption

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst on Salesforce, in a functional, configuration-focused role
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B preferred)
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and turn business needs into scalable solutions
• A solid understanding of eCommerce processes, customer journeys and digital experience design
• Good knowledge of Salesforce configuration, automation, security, data modelling and reporting
• Experience supporting integrations across commerce, CRM, payments, ERP and other enterprise platforms
• Enough technical depth to read debug logs and interpret basic Apex or SOQL
• Exposure to Revenue Cloud or quote-to-cash processes is highly regarded
• Salesforce Administrator and Commerce Cloud certifications are a plus
