Job summary

Smart Energy is a leading national home electrification company specialising in solar systems, batteries, and hot water heat pumps for Australian households. The Sales Operations Coordinator role supports the Sales Operations team with appointment scheduling, verification, and installation booking, acting as a critical quality-control link between Sales, Customers, and Installation teams.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service, administration, or hospitality.
• Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and solution-oriented.
• Skilled in handling change and resolving conflict calmly and professionally.
• Salesforce CRM experience is a big bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and action appointment cancellations, reschedules, and queries from Sales Managers, Specialists, and Lead Generators.
• Engage directly with customers to minimise cancellations and re-schedule face-to-face appointments.
• Set up, coordinate, and oversee sales campaigns across 15+ offices nationwide.
• Liaise with the Salesforce IT team to troubleshoot issues reported by Solar Specialists.
• Allocate, assign, and dispatch appointments fairly and efficiently to Solar Specialists and BDMs.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers and the Operations team to onboard new Specialists.
• Build strong relationships across diverse personality types and management styles.
• Maintain daily communication with Solar Specialists and Lead Generators to manage schedules and leads.
