Job summary

SRA Solutions in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region is seeking a Sales Estimator / Internal Sales to transform opportunities into work. You will review specifications, prepare quotes, and build strong relationships with contractors, distributors and project managers.

You’ll collaborate with planning and production to ensure quotes reflect real capability, stay competitive, and help convert opportunities into secured contracts. A proactive, commercially minded communicator will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating and quoting.
• Commercially minded; enjoys winning work, not just pricing it.
• Ability to interpret specifications and extract key project information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines.
• Good computer skills.
• Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing specifications and tender documents.
• Preparing client quotations.
• Identifying and pursuing new quoting opportunities.
• Following up submitted quotes and building relationships to help convert opportunities into secured work.
• Liaising with contractors, distributors and project managers throughout the quoting process.
• Working with internal teams to ensure quotes reflect real production capability.
• Assisting with project handover once jobs are secured.
• Maintaining accurate records of quotes and project information.
