Job summary

Marble Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Estimator to support the sales team from enquiry through tender and contract. You will prepare accurate estimates, price variations and ensure competitive, commercially sound proposals.

Collaborating with Sales Consultants, clients and suppliers, you will price residential projects, review plans and inclusions, manage multiple tenders and help optimise margins as the business scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in sales estimating for residential construction
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines

Our client is a growing residential builder delivering quality homes across home & land and custom projects, currently building around 200 + homes annually with strong plans to scale.

With an expanding presence across two brands, they are continuing to grow their sales and estimating function and are now looking for an experienced Senior Sales Estimator to join the team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a mid - senior Sales Estimator to join a growing residential builder and play a key role in supporting the sales team from initial enquiry through to tender and contract.

Reporting into the relevant sales/estimating leadership team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, pricing variations and ensuring clients receive competitive and commercially sound proposals.

You'll work closely with Sales Consultants, clients, suppliers and internal construction teams to ensure projects are accurately priced and ready to progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and tenders for residential projects

• Work closely with Sales Consultants to provide accurate pricing and support sales conversion
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

• Maintain accurate estimating documentation and pricing
• Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure pricing aligns with company standards, margins and project requirements
• Build strong working relationships across sales, construction and internal teams

About You

• Proven experience as a Sales Estimator within residential construction
• Strong understanding of residential building processes, plans, specifications and inclusions
• Experience pricing custom homes, project homes or similar residential projects
• Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Confident working with Sales Consultants, clients and internal stakeholders
• Strong understanding of construction costs, materials and trades
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with estimating software such as Databuild, Buildsoft, Companion Systems or similar highly regarded
