Job summary

Marist180 is seeking a People & Culture Consultant for a casual, fixed-term engagement in Parramatta. You will lead the enhancement of rostering frameworks, evaluate current rosters against industry best practices, and implement forward-focused rosters across the organisation.

Key focus includes finalising the On-Call Manager framework, validating SCHADS Award compliance, and deploying new rostering structures into Employment Hero. Strong HRIS experience and policy development are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary education in HR, Business Administration, or related field (desirable).
• Proven track record auditing, designing, and optimising large-scale rosters in complex, 24/7 care settings.
• Deep operational knowledge of the SCHADS Award and Not-For-Profit sector.
• Strong capabilities leading consultation processes for major workplace changes with emotional intelligence.
• Hands-on experience migrating, configuring, or managing staff rosters within HRIS tools, preferably Employment Hero.
• Ability to translate complex operational realities into SOPs and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve the on-call framework for Managers.
• Conduct end-to-end evaluation of all rosters across Marist180.
• Evaluate rostering practices against SCHADS Award provisions to identify improvements.
• Design and implement strategic roster updates for efficiency and sustainability.
• Facilitate workplace consultation initiatives under SCHADS guidelines.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and unions to manage expectations and queries.
• Deploy updated rosters into Employment Hero and document changes.
• Develop and implement a robust roster policy and procedures manual.
