Queensland Rail Limited in Brisbane is seeking a Master Roster Developer for a fixed-term role until June 2027 to launch a career in workforce optimisation, data analytics and public transport.

You will perform deep data dives into rostering, use Power BI to visualise insights, ensure compliance with enterprise agreements and fatigue rules, and support continuous improvement. This is an excellent stepping stone within QR for growth in a collaborative, data-driven environment.

Competenze

• Experience with Power BI is essential.
• Background in workforce optimisation or rostering is preferred.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.

Mansioni

• Utilise analytical workforce planning tools to produce master rosters that are cost efficient and rule compliant.
• Maintain and optimise rosters ensuring compliance with Enterprise Agreements, fatigue, legislation and safety rules.
• Design rosters with optimisation for events, training, and large-scale network changes.
• Support implementation of rosters including ad hoc reporting and continuous improvement.
• Coach leaders on rostering and data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.
• Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure modelling outputs are consistent.
