Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking an experienced Roster Scheduler to own rostering for our residential aged care teams and to support payroll processes. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure rosters are accurate, compliant, and accessible while analysing workforce data to drive timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Typically, this role requires a Certificate III in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent rostering experience.
• Prior rostering experience within a similar industry or with transferrable skills are required.
• Strong experience supporting payroll and workforce reporting.
• Strong computer skills with systems such as CRM, rostering software, and Work Smart Dynamics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office suite.
• Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day rostering for staff. Including updates, changes and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain roster reports and support payroll processes
• Collaborate with the Workforce Coordinator to ensure rosters are current and accessible.
• Respond to internal and external enquiries, including staff and residents' families.
• Organise meetings, training sessions and take minutes as required.
• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure confidentiality, privacy and compliance with Uniting policies and legislation.
• Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
