Job summary

BEST is seeking a part-time Roster Officer for our Inverell site to coordinate end-to-end rosters for Support Workers within our Disability and Community Services team.

You will balance participant needs, worker availability, and service agreements, liaise with payroll, and ensure accurate timesheets and invoicing. Applicants with rostering experience in disability or community services are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• End-to-end coordination of rosters for Support Workers.
• Ability to balance participant needs with worker availability and budgets.
• Strong communication with participants, families, and staff.
• Experience in rostering or scheduling in disability or community services (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Match workers to shifts and balance service agreements and budgets.
• Reconcile timesheets with Payroll and Finance to support accurate pay and invoicing.
• Maintain compliant rosters and manage shift changes and absences.
• Provide first point of contact for roster enquiries from workers, participants and carers.
