Job summary

Mercure Resort on the Gold Coast seeks an enthusiastic Housekeeping team member to maintain guest rooms and facilities to high standards.

You will clean rooms, replenish amenities, and support the team with stock and public areas cleaning. The role requires a positive attitude, physical fitness, and the ability to work across multiple shifts to ensure guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hotel services, with a customer‑focused approach.
• Knowledge of safe work practices within housekeeping.
• Physically able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to present yourself professionally and tidily.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Flexible to work across all days of the week.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms to established standards.
• Restock amenities and manage replenishment of supplies.
• Support public areas cleaning when required.
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness across all areas.
• Assist the housekeeping team as needed.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

• Contributing to memorable, relaxing experiences for every guest
• Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, making beds, and replenishing amenities
• Supporting the Housekeeping team with stock replenishment and public area cleaning when required
• Maintaining established standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Working in a fast-paced, physically activerole
• Supporting the wider resort team to provide heartfelt hospitality to all guests

Qualifications
