Job summary

Mercure Gold Coast is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the resort. You will support a welcoming environment in change rooms, washrooms and staff areas while working safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the resort looking its best by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Create a clean and welcoming team environment across change rooms, locker rooms, washrooms and team areas.
• Work safely and efficiently by using cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies correctly and minimising waste.
• Keep trolleys, storerooms and equipment organised, stocked and ready for use.
• Complete stocktakes and report any maintenance, equipment or supply issues promptly.
• Support Housekeeping with linen and delivery runs, rollaway beds, cots and moving supplies.
• Work closely with other departments and assist the wider team when needed.
