Job summary

Mantra Melbourne Airport, operated by Accor, is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to keep guest rooms pristine and welcoming in a busy airport hotel setting.

You will work with the housekeeping team, clean rooms, restock supplies, respect guest privacy, and help guests with a cheerful hospitality mindset. The role includes weekend and public holiday shifts, with opportunities for training through Accor Academy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
• Warm and welcoming communication with guests and team members.
• Eye for detail with good time management.
• Physical role involving moving between rooms and stairs.
• Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation and weekend/public holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean all sections of guest rooms, change linens, clean bathrooms and wipe surfaces.
• Follow established guidelines to meet impeccable standards.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organized.
• Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.

Mantra Melbourne Airport

is conveniently located a stone's throw away from Tullamarine International Airport. The property offers apartment-style hotel rooms, cosy one-bedroom suites, and the added convenience of interconnecting family suites. Featuring on-site, Woodlands Restaurant & Bar and 10 versatile event spaces with state-of-the-art facilities catering for up to 300 guests. Additionally, the hotel is just a short drive from the DFO, ideal for indulging in some retail therapy on your down time.

Purpose

As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in our Housekeeping department and dazzle our guests by keeping our rooms super clean and paying attention to every tiny detail. Your responsibilities extend beyond the physical tasks and include collaborating harmoniously within the team and helping guests whenever needed. Your dedication ensures that every guest has a wonderful stay, leaving with cherished memories of great hospitality.

Primary Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean all sections of the guest rooms, such as changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces, all to ensure an exceptional first impression
• Work diligently within the established guidelines to achieve the impeccable standards we hold dear
• Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organised and well equipped
• Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
• Respect guest privacy and security, upholding our commitment to their comfort

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus
