Job summary

Amazon is launching a new Reverse Logistics (ReLo) operation at BWU1, Moorebank. The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager and help build and run a brand-new operation from day one, ensuring safe, efficient processes and strong cross-department collaboration.

The role requires leading teams, coordinating labour, and driving improvement initiatives across shifts while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

38 hours+/week with flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
Experience leading teams in a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members.
Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 16 kilos, and work across shifts.

Responsibilities

Support and work across departments as required.
Lead meetings, allocate labour, and assign job duties.
Provide coverage for Area Managers.
Maintain a safe workplace and ensure operational integrity.
Measure and monitor workflows and report shift information to front-line management.
Train associates and supervise daily tasks to deliver great service.
Assist Area Manager with process improvement projects and workforce engagement.
Track attendance and labour hours.
