Job summary

Dyson Australia is seeking a Returns & Refurbishment Team Leader to oversee daily reverse logistics operations in NSW. You will coach a hands-on team to process, inspect and adjudicate returns, driving fast turnarounds on genuine exchanges and refunds while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

You will coordinate refurbishment schedules, optimize workflows, and manage stock flows across the ANZ plants and DHL sites, keeping costs under control and quality high.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on operational and team leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Demonstrated WHS compliance and site safety management.
• Proven track record of hitting operational targets in a structured environment.
• Experience handling customer queries and stakeholder interactions.
• Cost tracking, resource scheduling and operating budgets familiarity.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Manhattan WMS plus MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily returns processing to ensure fast turnarounds and protect the customer experience.
• Adjudicate customer claims and enforce policies against fraud.
• Screen returned products at intake to evaluate cost recovery and downstream pathways.
• Plan and execute daily refurbishment schedules aligned with parts and demand.
• Apply Dyson standards to maintain high-quality output at the Australian plant.
• Optimize workflow efficiencies across the returns lifecycle from intake to storage.
• Oversee inventory controls and regular stock counting across ANZ service plants.
• Drive team performance to meet yields, maintain quality, and manage refurbishment costs.
• Manage SAP return transactions and perform audits for SAP vs Manhattan WMS alignment.
• Streamline stock flow between the Taren Point facility and DHL sites.
• Lead, coach and support the team to hit KPIs and ensure daily accountability.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and regular performance check-ins.
