Securecorp is seeking professional, motivated Security Officers to join our retail security team in Lake Haven. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual roles with flexible rosters and competitive rates.

As a Retail Security Officer, you will patrol the centre, monitor CCTV, assist customers and maintain a high standard of professionalism while protecting people and property.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NSW Security Licence.
• Must hold current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Retail security experience is valued but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to stay calm, alert and professional under pressure.
• Reliable and punctual with flexible rosters including weekends/public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Conduct high-visibility internal and external patrols of the retail centre.
• Monitor CCTV and respond promptly to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Deliver professional security presence while providing exceptional customer service.
• Monitor access points and enforce site policies and security requirements.
• Assist customers and retailers with enquiries and directions.
• Liaise with Centre Management, retailers, emergency services and contractors.

About The Role

Securecorp is seeking professional, motivated and customer-focused Security Officers to join our retail security team in Lake Haven with Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual opportunities available.

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play an important role in creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, retailers and centre staff. You will combine a highly visible security presence with outstanding customer service, helping to protect people, property and assets while contributing to a positive retail experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-visibility internal and external patrols throughout the retail centre
• Monitor CCTV and respond promptly to incidents, alarms and emergencies
• Maintain a professional security presence while delivering exceptional customer service
• Monitor access points and enforce site policies, procedures and security requirements
• Assist customers and retailers with enquiries, directions and general assistance
• Liaise professionally with Centre Management, retailers, emergency services and contractors
• Identify and report hazards, suspicious behaviour and security risks
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports and daily activity logs
• Assist with emergency evacuations, incidents and other emergency situationsMaintain a high standard of professionalism, presentation and conduct at all times

About You

We are looking for people who are reliable, professional and take pride in providing both security and customer service excellence.

You Will Have

• A current NSW Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous retail security experience highly regarded, but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• A professional presentation and customer-focused approach
• The ability to remain calm, alert and professional under pressure
• Strong observation skills and the ability to respond appropriately to incidents
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
