Job summary

Securecorp is seeking professional Retail Security Officers to join our team across Cranbourne, Frankston and Bayside. We offer full-time, part-time and casual rosters to suit your lifestyle.

You will guard, patrol and monitor premises, control access, respond to incidents, and deliver high standards of customer service while upholding company policies and safety regulations. Eligible candidates hold a current Security License and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the security industry (Retail preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security services with high customer service standards.
• Guard, patrol and monitor assigned premises to prevent loss or damage.
• Control and manage access to premises; ensure authorized entry only.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents and alarm activations.
• Identify and address potential security risks or hazards.
• Conduct surveillance via patrols and CCTV monitoring.

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking professional, reliable and customer-focused Retail Security Officersto join our team across multiple retail sites.

We have opportunities available forFull-Time, Part-Time and Casual Security Officers, with positions available at the following:

• Cranbourne
• Frankston
• Bayside

Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs part of our team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver exceptional security services while maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Guard, patrol, and monitor assigned premises to ensure safety and prevent loss or damage
• Control and manage access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and alarm activations
• Identify, assess, and address potential security risks or hazards
• Conduct regular surveillance through patrols and monitoring systems (e.g., CCTV)
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain detailed records and data logs
• Liaise with management, staff, and emergency services when required
• Support the enforcement of company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Provide assistance to customers and staff while maintaining a secure environment

Key Selection Criteria

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Hold a current Security License and valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Have proven experience in the security industry (Retail Prefered)
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential
