Job summary

One Pear Tree in Frankston (Melbourne area) is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the retail section, including stock control, supplier orders, merchandising, and customer service. The role focuses on managing staff, maintaining sales and stock records, and implementing engaging promotions for home décor, jewellery and giftware.

You will work hands-on to ensure smooth operations, compliance with safety requirements, and ongoing growth of this retail area

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent in Business, Retail Management or related field.
1–2 years of retail management experience.
Experience in stock control and supplier ordering.
Experience supervising and rostering staff.
Experience in visual merchandising and product presentation.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to maintain accurate sales and stock records.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the home décor, jewellery and giftware retail section.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate supplier orders and replenishment.
Maintain attractive product displays and visual merchandising across the retail area.
Roster, train and supervise staff involved in retail and customer service operations.
Maintain accurate stock and sales records.
Plan and coordinate promotions and promotional activities for the retail range.
Provide customer advice and manage enquiries and complaints.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
