JS SANGWAN PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our Coburg North store. You will own day-to-day operations, influence product range, pricing, and marketing, and drive team performance on the shop floor.

In this hands-on role, you will work directly with the business owners, shaping decisions and delivering results with autonomy and accountability. The position offers a full-time salary package and opportunities for growth within the business.

Qualificações

• At least 1 to 3 years in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Relevant qualification such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in Retail Management, Leadership, Business, or related field.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Experience in stock control, pricing, and budgeting.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and oversee the store’s operations to run smoothly and profitably.
• Decide on product range, stock levels, and customer service standards.
• Develop and carry out purchasing and marketing strategies, including pricing.

• Keep records of inventory and all financial transactions.

Job Description

JS SANGWAN PTY LTD This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys owning results. You will run the day-to-day operations of the store and have real influence over what we sell, how we sell it, and how our team performs.

You will work directly with the business owners and help shape decisions. You will not be one manager among many.

Task & responsibilities Plan and oversee the store’s operations to make sure the business runs smoothly and profitably.

Decide on the product range, appropriate stock levels, and the customer service standards the team delivers. Develop and carry out purchasing and marketing strategies, including setting competitive prices. Plan and run promotions and advertising to attract customers and grow sales.

Serve customers on the shop floor, recommend suitable products, and explain how to use them. Keep accurate records of inventory and all financial transactions. Prepare and manage the store budget, and monitor sales and expenses against targets.

Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff, and support their development and performance. Make sure the workplace meets all work health and safety requirements and procedures.

Qualification & experience

At least 1 to 3 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role. A relevant qualification such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in Retail Management, Retail Leadership, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience). Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.

Good commercial sense, with experience in stock control, pricing, and budgeting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good computer skills, including POS and inventory systems.

Flexibility to work a roster that may include weekends.
