Job summary

JS SANGWAN PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our Coburg North store. You will own day-to-day operations, influence product range, pricing, and marketing, and drive team performance on the shop floor.

In this hands-on role, you will work directly with the business owners, shaping decisions and delivering results with autonomy and accountability. The position offers a full-time salary package and opportunities for growth within the business.

Qualifications

• At least 1 to 3 years in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Relevant qualification such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in Retail Management, Leadership, Business, or related field.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Experience in stock control, pricing, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the store’s operations to run smoothly and profitably.
• Decide on product range, stock levels, and customer service standards.
• Develop and carry out purchasing and marketing strategies, including pricing.
• Plan and run promotions and advertising to attract customers and grow sales.
• Serve customers on the shop floor and explain product use.
• Keep records of inventory and all financial transactions.
• Prepare and manage the store budget and monitor sales/expenses vs targets.
• Recruit, train, roster and supervise staff; support development and performance.
