Job summary

Kennedy Reid Pty is partnering with a major Australian financial institution to recruit Banking Customer Service Representatives for the Ballina, Lismore and Casino region. You will support multiple branches, delivering friendly service and handling everyday banking tasks.

You’ll assist customers with deposits, withdrawals and digital banking guidance, while adapting to different branch environments and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in banking, retail, hospitality, sales, contact centres or another fast-paced environment.
• Confidence handling cash and completing transactions accurately, or a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in helping customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.
• Professional, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Confidence learning new systems and working across different branch environments.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Full availability for full-time casual hours.
• Current driver’s licence and access to your own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness and ability to travel between Ballina, Lismore, Casino and surrounding branches as required.

• Building rapport with customers and colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.

The Role

As a Retail Banking Customer Service Representative, you will play an important role in delivering a positive customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of multiple regional branches.

You will assist customers with everyday banking transactions, respond to general enquiries and help ensure branches continue to operate smoothly during periods of increased demand or staff shortages.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

This is a regional relief position, with work allocated across branches according to business requirements.

• Roster: Flexibility may be required to support branch operating hours and business demands.
• Travel: Candidates must have a current driver's licence, their own reliable vehicle and be comfortable travelling between locations as required.
• Salary: $36.81+Super per hour
