Job summary

Commonwealth Bank Of Australia is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist to join our Lismore & Kyogle Branches on a part-time relief basis. You will cover a predetermined roster and travel between branches as required, providing exceptional service to personal and small business customers.

In this role you will help customers with enquiries, account maintenance, credit product applications and digital banking options, while upholding risk controls and our customer-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering customer service in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication; ability to articulate financial terms clearly.
• Ability to place the customer at the centre of everything you do with integrity.
• Willingness to travel between Lismore and Kyogle branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with customers about banking needs including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Assist customers with account maintenance and credit product applications.
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess financial needs.
• Educate customers on in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Follow processes and maintain a risk-aware culture.

Please note: This is a relief opportunity, in addition to supporting the Lismore Branch, you will be required to travel to Kyogle Branch.

Roster (part time)

Monday: 9:00am - 1:30pm

Tuesday: 9:00am - 1:30pm

Wednesday: 9:00am - 1:30pm

Thursday: 9:00am - 1:30pm

Friday: 9:00am - 1:30pm

• Have in-depth conversations with every customer about how we can support their overall banking needs including Home Loans, Business Banking & Financial Advice
• Support customers with enquiries, maintenance on accounts and process applications for credit products
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify any changes
• Educate and demonstrate of our in-branch technology and digital banking options to customers
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions whilst championing our processes, procedures, driving our risk-adverse culture
