Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a Resource Industries Support Representative to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is based on site in the Bowen Basin region and focuses on delivering high-quality customer service and on-site support to a major mining company.

Reporting to the Resource Industries Support Manager, you will promote safety, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive fleet reliability and service sales.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or certificate in relevant field.
• Experience in customer management within mining.
• Experience in mining, mining services or heavy earthmoving industries.
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Proactive approach to sourcing solutions.
• Positive attitude to developing the business through a team approach.

Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to safety requirements on site and in the workplace.
• Develop relationships with key customer stakeholders (Maintenance, Production, Engineering).
• Act as a central point of contact to promote consistency.
• Maximise fleet performance through reliability processes and training.
• Create, implement and execute sales and account strategies.
• Maintain and increase market share of parts and service.
• Communicate and manage challenges affecting fleet performance and satisfaction.
• Manage, document and resolve customer issues and enquiries.

Company : Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd We are searching for a Resource Industries Support Representative to join our team on a permanent, fulltime basis. This exciting opportunity will see you safely and efficiently provide the highest quality customer service and onsite support to a large world leading mining company located within the Bowen Basin region.

Reporting to our Resource Industries Support Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Promote and adhere to all safety requirements on site and within the workplace
• Develop relationships with key customer stakeholders (Maintenance, Production, Engineering etc)
• Promote consistency by being a centralized point of contact
• Maximise Customer fleet performance through reliability processes, defect elimination strategies and implementation of reliability focused systems and training
• Create, implement and execute sales and account strategies
• Maintain and increase our market share of parts and service
• Communicate and manage challenges effecting fleet performance and satisfaction
• Manage, document and resolve customer issues and enquires

About You You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Trade Qualified
• Demonstrated customer management experience within the mining industry
• Experience in mining, mining services or heavy earthmoving industries
• Strong commitment to Safety and continuous Improvement
