Job summary

RACV Inverloch Resort is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead the Front Office team and ensure a seamless guest experience across a busy resort environment.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, provide hands-on leadership, and be available to step into Front Desk duties as required. A strong focus on service, staff development and safety is essential in this seven-day operation, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a customer-facing role in hotels or resorts.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office operations.
• Experience leading, coaching and supporting a team.
• Ability to manage guest feedback and handle challenging situations.
• RSA and hospitality or tourism qualifications desirable.
• First Aid qualifications with defibrillation and anaphylaxis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Front Office team during shifts.
• Ensure guests receive a high level of service.
• Oversee Front Office and resort daily operations.
• Step into Front Desk duties when required.
• Respond to guest feedback in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with resort teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Assist with training and on-the-job coaching.
• Monitor safety, security and operational standards.
• Assist with emergency procedures and guest safety.
• Work with a seven-day roster including weekends and non-standard hours.
