Job summary

The University of Western Australia invites applications for a Facility Supervisor role covering Crawley Village and Forrest Hall. You will coordinate maintenance and service delivery, ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.

The role focuses on reactive and planned maintenance across residential facilities, liaising with residents and contractors, and guiding asset management and compliance, with a pro-rata full-time appointment.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in a relevant trade discipline or equivalent experience.
• Current WA Working with Children card.
• Experience coordinating building maintenance and services.
• Ability to support preventive maintenance as a strategy in maintaining University facilities and equipment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to read and interpret Australian Standards, BCA and codes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reactive and planned preventative maintenance across residential facilities, ensuring compliance and safety.
• Act as primary liaison for residents and stakeholders, managing priorities, contractors and services.
• Conduct inspections and asset management activities; advise on repairs and continuous improvement.
