Meriton Suites is actively seeking a casual Reservations Specialist for the Contact Centre team during the festive season. The role is based at our head office in the Sydney CBD and runs until the end of 2026. You will handle guest calls and emails, process reservations, and explore upsell opportunities while delivering polished service.

Qualificações

• Experience in hospitality sector, customer service, guest support or related role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Property Management System and online booking platform is advantageous.
• Attention to detail in data entry tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Availability to work casually rostered shifts across a rotating roster.

Responsabilidades

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, email, and online distribution platforms.
• Utilise sales techniques where possible, including personalising the call experience to better understand guest needs, make recommendations and upselling room upgrades for special occasions.
• Champion all properties’ information to ensure seamless communication to guests and potential guests.
• Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.

We have an exciting opportunity at Meriton Suites for a casual Reservations Specialist to join our Contact Centre team throughout the festive season. This opportunity is a short-term role, until the end of 2026 and based in our head office, located in the Sydney CBD.

About the Role

As a casual Reservations Specialist,you will provide highly polished customer service, have impeccable listening and multi tasking skills, ability to solve problems and a genuine desire to ensure the best outcome for our guests.

Your key responsibilities

• Attend to guest’s calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, email, and online distribution platforms.
• Utilise sales techniques where possible, including personalising the call experience to better understand guest needs, make recommendations and upselling room upgrades for special occasions.
• Champion all properties’ information to ensure seamless communication to guests and potential guests.

To be successful in this role you will bring:
