Job summary

Dorsett Hospitality International is seeking a Full-Time Reservations Agent to manage reservations across our Australian properties, acting as the main contact for guests and ensuring professional interactions. You’ll identify upsell opportunities and coordinate with hotel teams to meet guest requirements.

Ideal candidates have reservations or guest services experience in hospitality, excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and are available to work weekends and public

Join our team as a Full-Time Reservations Agent and help create exceptional guest experiences by delivering seamless booking experiences across our Australian properties.

About the Role

In this role, you will manage reservations across our Australian properties, acting as a key point of contact for guests and ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, attention to detail and a strong focus on service.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Manage reservations and guest enquiries via phone and email.
• Identify upselling opportunities to enhance the guest experience and maximise revenue.
• Process payments and maintain accurate booking records.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services and offerings.
• Manage booking changes and guest concerns professionally.
• Liaise with hotel teams to ensure guest requirements are met.

About You

You are organised, detail-oriented and passionate about exceptional customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively as part of a team.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous reservations or customer service experience, ideally within hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new platforms.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Hotel reservations system experience will be highly regarded.
