Job summary

Elevate Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager/Account Manager for a Brisbane-based opportunity offering a base salary up to $75k plus Super. The role allows full-time work from home with travel discounts for staff and ongoing professional training.

You will support and grow existing client revenues by offering strategic updates and training travel advisors, while engaging with events and travel partners across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Previous business development / account management experience is advantageous or experience as a travel consultant with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience working with travel agents and understanding the travel industry.
• Confident and articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to attend functions and events as required.
• Ability to manage Queensland, Brisbane, Gold Coast and northern NSW regions.
• Support existing clients by understanding needs and suggesting solutions.
• Able to coach and deliver engaging training for travel consultants.
• Identify opportunities to attract new clients and grow revenue.
• Stay informed on consumer and industry trends and monitor competitor activity.

Responsibilities

• Advise existing clients on updates within the business and revenue opportunities.
• Coach, train and present to travel advisors on latest developments.
• Identify opportunities to attract new clients and grow revenue for the business.
• Deliver a training program which is engaging for travel consultants.
• Stay informed with consumer and industry trends and monitor competitors.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback as required.
