Job summary

Square Australia is expanding its Melbourne-based sales leadership team. As a Sales Manager, you will lead Account Executives, own the development of a high-performance sales organisation, and drive predictable revenue growth through data-driven coaching and strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will guide hiring, ramping and retaining top performers, engage senior stakeholders in complex negotiations, and build repeatable plays to win in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience as a sales manager leading multi-stakeholder accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead Account Executives and develop talent to improve deal size and complexity.
• Sell alongside your team in discovery, business case development and negotiation.
• Coach through data using pipeline inspection, forecasting and performance diagnostics.
• Establish predictable operating rhythms around forecasting, pipeline management and business reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Enablement, Operations and Product to improve the customer journey.
