Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of materials and finished goods in a fully remote setting. You will coordinate transportation, manage inventory, and liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes across regions.

This role emphasizes independent work, strong remote collaboration, and the ability to handle complex supply chains without a physical office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain management role.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation modes, and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency with logistics software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping, receiving, and transportation.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular reconciliation and cycle counts.
• Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange and track shipments.
• Maintain detailed records of logistics activities, including costs, transit times, and delivery performance.
• Resolve any logistics-related issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
