Job summary

Block, Inc.'s Square division in Australia is hiring an Implementation Specialist for Global Seller Onboarding in Melbourne. You will lead technical onboarding for SMB merchants, coordinating with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to deploy Square solutions end-to-end.

You will document capabilities, translate requirements into actionable requests, manage multiple onboarding projects, and help scale with AI-powered automation. Travel up to 10% for client meetings and deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing role, including 2+ years in project management, implementation, or onboarding.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across priorities, timelines, and resources.
• Experience in the POS, payments, or broader technology industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding projects for multiple sellers concurrently with cross-functional teams.
• Document Square capabilities and timing to set clear expectations with sellers.
• Own risk and ensure consistent stakeholder updates throughout onboarding.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering and Success.
• Translate requirements to actionable feature requests for Product teams.
• Support data entry and data migration as needed during onboarding.
• Travel up to 10% for client meetings and deployments.
