Job summary

Square is seeking a Global Seller Onboarding Specialist for Australia to drive onboarding, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure merchants are set up and trained to leverage Square’s platform. The role blends remote and onsite work as needed.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in a customer-facing role, experience in software implementation or related fields, and a BA/BS degree preferred. Occasional Melbourne onsite visits may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer facing role, preferably in software implementation, support, sales/account management or customer success.
• Positive attitude with bias for action and the ability to operate independently.
• Thrive in ambiguity and manage multiple cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong time management and excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple complex projects in technology while partnering with clients.
• Ability to learn quickly as products and org changes are released.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience in the POS, Payments or Tech industries is a plus.
• Experience in hardware installation and network configuration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and implementation experiences for Square's sellers.
• Adhere to go-live timelines and training curriculum.
• Identify obstacles in onboarding and manage partner communication.
• Maintain expertise in Square's platform and integrations.
• Support onboarding strategy across markets and inform product roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain training collateral for internal and external use.
• Manage multiple projects across many merchants with competing timelines.
