Job summary

Block, Inc. in Melbourne is seeking an Implementation Specialist to lead the technical onboarding of new merchants, delivering a seamless, scalable onboarding experience for SMB sellers.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to implement Square deployments and help upmarket growth. This role requires managing multiple onboarding projects and traveling up to 10% for client meetings and hardware installations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing role with 2+ years in project management, implementation or onboarding.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects across priorities, timelines and resources.
• Clear ability to distill complex requirements into tailored solutions and explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding projects for multiple sellers, balancing priorities and timelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Document capabilities and limitations to set accurate expectations with sellers.
• Identify and manage risks throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into actionable feature requests and roadmap input.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive improvements with scalable AI-powered automation.
• Travel up to 10% for client meetings and installations.
