Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking an HR Advisor to provide accurate IR/ER advice to clients, conduct compliance audits, and handle complex matters with Senior Workplace Advisors. You will support knowledge-base initiatives, liaise with legal, and guide sales/marketing on advisory products while maintaining meticulous records.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience at an HR Advisor level.
• Qualifications in HR, Law, Business or similar fields (preferable).
• Australian Employment Knowledge.
• Strong ability to advise on Industrial Relations matters. Award interpretation is highly regarded.
• Good time management, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in learning and using different softwares; knowledge of Salesforce, Zendesk and Employment Hero is highly regarded.
• Customer focused and ability to build strong on-going relationships.
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a global and remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and technical IR/ER advice to clients on operational matters including performance management, misconduct, termination, discrimination/harassment, adverse actions, and award interpretation.
• Conduct compliance audits for clients and provide recommendations on award coverage and HR compliance improvements.
• Raise complex/high-risk matters for Senior Workplace Advisors or Team Leaders support.
• Manage high volume calls and email enquiries with calm, professional, and accurate responses; outline practical solutions and risks.
• Contribute to knowledge base content, blogs, posts, webinars, and client guides.
• Collaborate on department projects for process improvements and awards summaries.
• Liaise with legal team for disputes and investigations; advise sales/marketing to support advisory product growth.
• Create and post knowledge base articles for website and social media.
• Champion improvement initiatives within the HR Advisory team; maintain accurate records in SF and Zendesk.
