Job summary

Employment Hero is hiring a Client Finance Specialist - Billings for a remote-first role. You will own end-to-end invoicing accuracy, resolve billing disputes, and partner with Accounts Receivable to manage aged debt across AU/NZ.

You’ll work with NetSuite/Zuora and Zendesk/Jira in a fast-growing SaaS environment, with strong emphasis on data quality and process improvement. The role requires 4+ years in billing/revenue operations, experience with multi-currency billing, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• 4+ years of billing, revenue operations, or a client-facing finance role in SaaS or EOR.
• Hands-on experience with multi-currency billing and FX error resolution.
• Fluency with billing platforms (NetSuite, Zuora, Stripe) or similar.
• Experience with helpdesk tools Zendesk, Jira, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
• Knowledge of AU/NZ GST obligations and BECS direct debit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client invoicing accuracy and integrity.
• Resolve billing disputes to protect DSO and cash flow.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable on aged debt and at-risk accounts.
• Lead process improvements and root-cause analyses for billing accuracy.
• Manage billing queues in Zendesk and Jira and route non-billing queries within SLAs.
• Coordinate with payroll and operations to ensure clean data handoffs.
