Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care for residents in our Melbourne facilities. You will assess health needs, monitor vital signs, manage medications, and contribute to care planning within Arcare’s values and clinical standards.

You will conduct wound care, manage pain, document care using eCase, and respond to emergencies with professionalism. Australian Working Rights and NDIS worker screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential) with nursing practice in Australia.
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate and eager to learn.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Friendly, professional communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care including health assessments, vital signs monitoring and medication management.
• Wound assessment, treatment and infection prevention.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using eCase.
• Pain management and comfort care.
• Respond to medical emergencies promptly.
• Provide compassionate end-of-life care.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
