Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred nursing care in a supportive aged care setting. You will conduct health assessments, monitor residents, and assist with medications and wound care while upholding clinical standards and Arcare’s values.

You will plan and document care, respond to emergencies, and provide compassionate end-of-life support. The role offers varied shifts, above award rates, 5 weeks annual leave, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments and monitoring vital signs.
• Manage medications and wound care as part of a person-centred plan.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase.
• Identify and address pain and emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Provide compassionate end-of-life and palliative care as required.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
