Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents across our aged care facilities in Adelaide. You will perform health assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, document changes, and support wound care in line with clinical standards.

Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration, have knowledge of accreditation standards, and bring teamwork, compassion, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential).
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Friendly, professional communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management.
• Assess, treat and manage wounds while preventing infection.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain clinical records and document changes using eCase.
• Identify and address pain concerns and respond to emergencies.
• Provide compassionate end-of-life and palliative care.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management

• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
