Job summary

Fresh Hope is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver holistic, person-centred care at Clelland Lodge, North Nowra, NSW. You will work across PM and Night shifts, leading care staff and delivering high-quality nursing across the resident care process.

Applicants must have AHPRA registration and at least 3 years' aged care nursing experience. NSW regulations, kindness, and teamwork are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Aged Care nursing experience is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

• Knowledge of legislation and best practice in aged care.
• Ability to lead a team of care staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic care to residents per nursing standards.
• Coordinate care and lead staff to ensure timely care delivery.
• Administer medications and participate in care planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for person-centred care.
• Support and mentor junior staff to maintain high care quality.

Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritizes health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

Your Contribution

• Provide the highest standard of care for residents in accordancewith the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
• Deliver comprehensive care and individual case management toresidents according to the organizational clinical framework and caremodel.
• Ensure effective delivery of the nursing process through theeffective resident entry, assessment, care planning and delivery,evaluation and exit recognized by professional standards.
• Lead and coordinate care staff to effectively deliver residentscare, everyday activities, administration of medication and interventions thatpromote overall resident well-being and meaningful engagement
• Coach the care staff to enable them to deliver high quality care,develop skills and knowledge gaps.
• Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holisticperson-centered approach
• Build positive relationships with Residents, families, and otherstaff members

The Essentials

• Aged Care nursing experience is essential
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner RegulationAgency (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of legislation, regulations and evidence based bestpractice relevant to aged care
