Fresh Hope Communities in North Nowra, NSW, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver holistic aged care aligned with the Aged Care Standards. You will support residents' health, wellbeing, and community connection, applying the nursing process and working within a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers part-time and casual shifts across PM and Night periods, uniform provided, ongoing training, and salary packaging with above award pay rates.

Qualifications

• Aged Care nursing experience is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current AHPRA registration as a nurse.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation and best practices.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritizes health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

Your Contribution

• Provide the highest standard of care for residents in accordancewith the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
• Deliver comprehensive care and individual case management toresidents according to the organizational clinical framework and caremodel.
• Ensure effective delivery of the nursing process through theeffective resident entry, assessment, care planning and delivery,evaluation and exit recognized by professional standards.
• Lead and coordinate care staff to effectively deliver residentscare, everyday activities, administration of medication and interventions thatpromote overall resident well-being and meaningful engagement
• Coach the care staff to enable them to deliver high quality care,develop skills and knowledge gaps.
• Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holisticperson-centered approach
• Build positive relationships with Residents, families, and otherstaff members

The Essentials

• Aged Care nursing experience is essential
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner RegulationAgency (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of legislation, regulations and evidence based bestpractice relevant to aged care
