Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver holistic care for residents, prioritising health, wellbeing and community connection to support changing needs. Based at Clelland Lodge, North Nowra, NSW, you’ll join a dedicated team across PM and Night shifts.

You’ll provide care per Aged Care Standards, lead care staff, coordinate medications, and participate in ongoing training. Current AHPRA registration and a minimum of three years RN experience are essential; sponsorship is not

Qualifications

• Aged care nursing experience is essential.

• Knowledge of legislation and regulations in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of care for residents.

Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritizes health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

Your Contribution

• Provide the highest standard of care for residents in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
• Deliver comprehensive care and individual case management to residents according to the organizational clinical framework and care model.
• Ensure effective delivery of the nursing process through the effective resident entry, assessment, care planning and delivery, evaluation and exit recognized by professional standards.
• Lead and coordinate care staff to effectively deliver residents care, everyday activities, administration of medication and interventions that promote overall resident well-being and meaningful engagement
• Coach the care staff to enable them to deliver high quality care, develop skills and knowledge gaps.
• Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centered approach
• Build positive relationships with Residents, families, and other staff members

The Essentials

• Aged Care nursing experience is essential
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of legislation, regulations and evidence based best practice relevant to aged care
