Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Field-based Regional Manager for Joint Replacement in Sydney, NSW. You will lead a five-person sales team, drive regional revenue growth, and manage partnerships with orthopedic surgeons and hospitals across the region.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in implantable medical device sales and 2 years in leadership, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Travel is around 20% with flexible work arrangements across field-based and onsite settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in implantable medical device sales.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in people leadership or sales management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, science, healthcare, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional revenue growth, profit, and market share targets across the Joint Replacement portfolio.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 Sales Representatives, driving performance against defined sales and capability metrics.
• Execute regional sales strategies aligned to surgeon demand, hospital priorities, and portfolio objectives.
• Build long-term partnerships with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre teams, and hospital decision-makers.
• Drive accurate forecasting, territory planning, inventory control, and service coverage across the region.
• Lead professional execution of product launches, portfolio conversions, and recalls.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and procedural trends to inform regional strategy.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory standards, and company policies.
